HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter. Beginning on January 1, 2008, obtain and complete an Official Registration Form from the Customer Service Center at Ala Moana Center (the "mall") and submit it to the Customer Service Center by close of business on 12/31/08 (each a "mall entry"). Or, to enter online, beginning at 12:00:01 am ET on January 1, 2008 through 11:59:59 pm ET on December 31, 2008 ("Sweepstakes Period") log onto www.alamoanacenter.com, become a registered online mall member by entering your name, mailing address, gender and email address, click on the "Submit" button, and you will be entered into the Sweepstakes. All online entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 pm ET on the last day of the calendar week and mall entries must be submitted by the close of business on the last day of the calendar week ("weekly deadline") and entries must be received by Sponsor by 11:59:59 pm ET on the day following the weekly deadline to be included in that week's drawing. Limit one entry per person, regardless of method of entry. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered at time of entry. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for undelivered, lost, late, misdirected, garbled, illegible, incomplete entries or for technical problems related to, or limiting the ability of an individual to participate in the Sweepstakes. If for any reason the online portion of the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the online portion of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel or terminate the online portion of the Sweepstakes and select the weekly winner from all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation or termination. All entries become the Sponsor's property and will not be returned.
WEEKLY DRAWINGS: One winner will be selected for each week of the Sweepstakes Period in a random drawing that will take place approximately 30 days after each weekly deadline from all eligible entries received. Drawings will be conducted by Sponsor or its designee, the judge of the Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Non-winning entries will be entered into subsequent weekly drawings. Each winner will be notified by e-mail, or regular mail. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
PRIZE (one per week): One $100 American Express gift card redeemable for merchandise and services at stores in the mall - subject to terms and conditions of the card. The Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, stolen, altered or counterfeit gift cards. Odds of winning any weekly drawing depend on the number of eligible entries received by each weekly deadline. Each winner (or winner's parent or legal guardian if winner is a minor) is solely responsible for all taxes related to the prize. If any winner is a minor, the prize will be awarded in the minor's name to his/her parent or legal guardian who must sign all required documents. Prizes are non-transferable. No prize substitutions or cash redemptions allowed, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Each winner will have 60 days after notification to claim their prize in person at the Ala Moana Center Customer Service Center. All unclaimed prizes are forfeit.
GENERAL: Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, with venue in Cook County, Illinois, and all claims must be resolved in the state or federal courts of Cook County, Illinois. By entering, entrants agree: (1) to be bound by these Official Rules, by the decisions of the judge, and by Sponsor's Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions; (2) to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its agents from any and all liability, injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from their participation in the Sweepstakes and their acceptance and/or use/misuse of any prizes; and (3) to be contacted by Sponsor via e-mail. By accepting a prize, each winner consents to the use of his/her name and likeness for advertising, promotion and publicity purposes without additional compensation (except if winner is a resident of TN or where prohibited by law). All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and where prohibited) who are age 13 or older at time of entry. General Growth Properties, Inc. and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents ("Sponsor and its agents") and the immediate family members and those living in the same household of each are not eligible.
WINNERS' LIST: For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Ala Moana Center, $100 Weekly Sweepstakes Giveaway, 999 Bishop Street, 24th Floor, Honolulu, HI 96813, to be postmarked by December 31, 2008 and received by Sponsor by January 7, 2009.
