Ala Moana Center will welcome local artist Kate Wadsworth for a live painting installation of the Center’s iconic Aloha Sign, part of its ongoing artist collaboration series. Over five days, Wadsworth will transform the 28-foot-wide installation with a lei-inspired design, offering guests a unique opportunity to watch the creative process unfold in real time. Shoppers can observe the work in progress, and meet the artist as she brings her vision to life.

 

The live painting will take place at Level 3, Center Court from Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24 2026, between 10am-3pm daily.

 

The newly refreshed Aloha Sign will officially debut on May 1 as part of Ala Moana Center’s Lei Day celebration, which will feature cultural programming, activations, and special offerings throughout the month of May.
