Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii is a free event that everyone can enjoy regardless of origin or language, with the motto "Ukulele connects people." Produced by the Ukulele Foundation, Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii began in 2009 and continued live until 2020. During the pandemic, performances were held virtually and organizers are pleased to bring the event back to Hawaii in 2023 with a live, three-day performance format. Ukulele Picnic is not only a way to rediscover the wonders of the ukulele, but also an event where participants express gratitude and respect for all of Hawai‛i and its music. For information:
