Valextra, and specifically its Japanese branch, which represents, with 13 retail shops opened in the last 10 years throughout Japan’s territory, the group’s main source of business, is opening its first store in Hawaii. The Store Manager is primarily responsible for managing overall store operations (expenses, merchandising standards, compliance, safety, security, and workforce) in order to drive positive customer experiences, sales, and margin performance. You have to build and support a store culture that is aligned to company purpose, serving as a "Valextra Ambassador" by promoting the philosophy and values of the brand.

As a leader within our business, you will take ownership to lead and coach your team, ensuring that they have exceptional brand and product awareness while also ensuring that they deliver the highest level of client experience. As a role model for the team and wider business, you will need to demonstrate superb sales leadership skills in respect to building your personal client portfolio, driving client repurchase rates & cross selling thus ensuring that all business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Over 3 years of management experience in the fashion industry.
  • Experience in small leather goods brand is a plus.
  • Being the boutique managed and operated by Valextra Japan, the candidate must be fluent in Japanese language.
